Professional Development
We strive to prepare our members for careers in the environmental field by providing a hub for networking, support, and professional development. By facilitating resume workshops, offering professional head shots, building an internship database, connecting with our alumni network, and hosting speakers who work in a variety of fields, Epsilon Eta aims to be the foundation for our members’ futures working in environmental careers.
Volunteerism
By committing to Epsilon Eta, members also commit to a minimum of 10 hours per semester of volunteer service. We host 3-5 large group volunteering events per semester, as well as facilitate weekly and recurring opportunities to serve to our community. Our service focusses on restoration, community action, activism, and environmental justice. If your organization would like to collaborate with us, please contact us here.
Social
Fostering a strong community is what gives Epsilon Eta momentum. Weekly study groups, reading roundtables, social events, excursions and rec sports teams spark and nurture relationships within the group. Our bonds allow us to better understand each other and our many viewpoints in order to better consider those from across the environmental movement and advance the larger conversation on sustainability.
