Tips for Recruitment:
- Be Yourself: During the recruitment process, we want to get to know you! Bring your authentic self. We want to learn about your interests as well as what you're looking for in eta.
- Show Your Passion: Share what excites you about Eta and the environmental field. What brought you to Eta? How do your interests in the environmental field relate to Eta?
- Communicate: Try your best to be present at as many recruitment events as possible. If you can't make it to an event, make sure to communicate with our recruitment team.
- Find Your Fit: Current members are excited to meet you! We encourage you to chat with members from all years, majors, and backgrounds, even if they may be outside of your own.
Frequently Asked Questions
We have semesterly dues, which are $85 for new members and $75 after your first semester. We work with every member to ensure cost is not an issue. Please feel free to connect with our Vice President of Finance if you have any questions or concerns.
Commitment to Eta varies from week to week, but our 5 engagement events and chapter attendance are required, so ~1-5 hrs/week.
Early fall through October 2nd! Dates/times of events are found above. Details will be released at the start of each round (weekly).
We encourage students with ANY major, minor, or experience with the environment! All we require is a passion for helping our planet!
All years and experiences are welcome to participate in recruitment! Last year's pledge class consisted freshmen, seniors, and people in between!
You'll get an email from us on Sunday night/Monday morning with details of each week's recruitment events, so be on the lookout!
